The Cutting Shop is a traditional barbers with old school values. We offer classic and contemporary cuts for the every day city gentleman.
The story so far
Paul and Steve met while working in another barber shop (Derek’s in Chester) and subsequently opened their own shop, The Cutting Room, in July 1985.
The shop was originally sited at Eastgate Row North in Chester City Centre before moving to its current location in September 1987.
Angie joined the team in 2013 before buying the shop from Paul and Steve in December 2016. Even though Angie has now taken the reins, Paul and Steve still have some involvement in the business.
